Taking inspiration from Gillian's Art Deco style wedding dress and general theme, plus the rustic setting, we included autumnal and native flowers in warm red-to-amber tones with white accents and grey-green foliage.
For the ceremony, we added flowers to gold-framed tetrahedra (made by Gillian and Sean!) and hung them above the doorway. Then we filled brass-wire baskets with similar flowers and placed them down the aisle.
We decorated the reception tables with clear and amber glass vessels filled with seasonal and native flowers, such as pampas grass, kangaroo paw, proteas, banksia, strawberry fields, dahlias, leucadendron, and wattle and olive foliage.
